My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and centered on compassion and presence. We move at a pace that feels supportive for you, without pressure or expectation.
Grief does not follow a predictable path. In our work together, there is no need to “move on” or be anywhere other than where you are.
I specialize in pet loss and animal-related grief, including anticipatory grief, sudden loss, euthanasia support, and bereavement.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports the body's natural ability to restore balance and calm. Rooted in the belief that energy flows through all living beings, Reiki works by channeling healing energy to reduce stress, ease anxiety, and promote overall wellbeing — for both people and animals.
Whether your pet is navigating illness, anxiety, or simply needs a moment of deep rest, or you're seeking your own sense of peace and renewal, Reiki meets you exactly where you are. I also can perform Reiki for you or any family member.

Grief is not a problem to solve, but an experience to be supported.
In our work together, I offer:

Animals have always been at the center of my life. The relationships we form with them are often some of the most meaningful and steady connections we experience.
I grew up with the kind of love only animals offer — quiet, unconditional, and deeply present. The kind of companionship that meets you where you are and stays close through difficult moments. When I began losing my own animals, I came to understand just how profound that absence can feel.
Through both personal loss and my work in emergency veterinary care, I was drawn into this field in a lasting way. I now support people through pet loss, anticipatory grief, and end-of-life decisions for their animals. I became a certified death doula and grief coach because I believe these moments deserve care, clarity, and someone steady beside you.
My approach is grounded in graduate-level social work training, hands-on experience in veterinary settings, and a trauma-informed understanding of grief. I continue to deepen my work in animal-centered end-of-life care so I can meet each person and each story with thoughtfulness and respect.
In addition to grief coaching, I am a trained Pet Death Doula and Reiki practitioner. I currently work in a veterinary emergency hospital in Water Mill, NY, where I support families during end-of-life care and moments of loss. That experience has shaped how I show up — with calm presence, patience, and respect for whatever someone is carrying.

I am not a licensed therapist and do not provide psychotherapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need clinical support, I will help guide you toward appropriate licensed care.
